Corrective Color
No one, absolutely no one can do corrective color better than we can. We specialize in corrective color and will do our best to maintain the integrity of your hair. Please be prepared to offer as much information about the process your hair went thru to get it to the point it’s at now. This information can assist your colorist in a speedier service. If you don’t know, that’s ok too we’ll still get your hair corrected. Usually color can be corrected in one visit, but not always. Depending upon degree of damage and correction necessary, it may require more than one appointment to get you to your final color destination.

How can I pay?
We accept Visa and Mastercard for purchases over $45
Amounts under $45 please pay cash.
We do not accept personal checks
Service Guarantee
We want you to be 100% satisfied. Please let us know if your service does not meet your expectation. We will do everything possible to remedy the problem. Please bear in mind that our stylists are professionally trained to protect the integrity of your hair. Should you request something that isn’t healthy for your hair, you may be refused service. Chemical services are only guaranteed when you use the products recommended to you by our staff.
Appointments
We recommend that you make all appointments in advance to ensure stylist availability, as well as to secure the time that works best for your schedule. We ask that you keep us informed of any changes in your contact information.
Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to relax and browse style ideas. When scheduling, please consider the heavy traffic to allow yourself enough time. Please be considerate of those who have appointments after you by arriving on time.
We understand that, on occasion, circumstances arise which may cause a guest to arrive late. Rest assured we will do everything possible to accommodate you if this occurs. However, in some cases, it may be appropriate to shorten (or even reschedule) services. Since we need to charge full-service prices, we hope you do everything in your power to arrive on time so that you can receive our full-service treatment.
Cancellation Policy
We will forgive one no-show per guest as a courtesy. Should you have three missed appointments without prior contact, you will be required to pay a deposit for all future bookings. If you miss the rebooked appointment your deposit will be forfeited, and you will need to prepay for another booking. Should you be uncomfortable with prepaying, you will be accepted as a walk-in only as time permits.
Children
Are children welcome? We love children, but in order to ensure the comfort of all of our guests, children must be seated in the waiting room quietly the entire time. While the checkerboard floor is tempting to little eyes, it is not a playground. Our guests who are also parents of energetic children want to relax in a peaceful environment while they are being serviced.
Disclaimer
All pricing is based on time and product used to perform each service. Pricing is subject to increase if additional time or product is needed to accommodate your particular hair needs. If you have any questions on specific pricing, then we urge you to ask your stylist for pricing prior to your service.
Your Color Formula
If you should ever need your customized color formula at anytime we do offer the option of purchasing this information. Our expertise is used to create our color formulations and this expertise is derived from years of education and experience. These formulas are the property of A Finer Image Salon. We will mail your formula to a salon outside of NC or SC for a fee of $100. We will mail your formula to a salon within the state of NC or SC for a fee of $200. We will personally hand you your formula for a fee of $300. All fees are non-refundable.
Cell Phones
We ask that all cell phones be set to vibrate before entering the salon as a courtesy to other clients and our design team. We also ask that you set your phone to private, not speakerphone while you talk. We strive to provide a relaxing, private and undisturbed atmosphere at all times.
