The hair extension is then fused with your natural hair creating a natural bond.
Once the application process is completed your hair will then be cut to the desired length and style.

Keratin Bonding
The leading type of Hair Extensions are pre-treated bonds with keratin. These keratin bonds make the Extensions last a long time while looking and feeling completely natural. With the bonds being similar in structure to one's own Hair, they absolutely do not harm the integrity of your own Hair. Hair Extension Application and Removal

How long will my Hair Extensions last?	With proper care, a set of Hair Extensions could last 3-6 months.
Will I have to do anything special to take care of my Hair Extensions?	It is important that the Hair Extension bonds are kept dry as often as possible. Also, we recommend the use of a shampoo made especially for extensions, which we carry, and a natural boar bristle brush to brush over the bonds themselves.
Will I have to blow dry my Hair when I have Hair Extensions ?	It is not necessary to blow dry the Hair itself, but it is highly recommended that you blow dry the Extension bonds (how the Extensions are attached to your Hair) to prevent them from breaking down and falling out pre-maturely.
Can I color my Hair Extensions?	The Extension Hair can be darkened and toned somewhat but drastic changes or lightening of your Hair Extensions should be avoided.
Can I still color my own Hair?	Absolutely! However, because the extension hair cannot be changed dramatically, you should not try to make drastic changes to your overall color.
How do I match the Extension Hair color to my own Hair color?	Darlene will make the decisions in respect to color matching. The Extension Hair is available in a wide variety of colors and in most cases several different colors will be used in order to achieve the most natural look.
How much will my Hair Extensions cost if I want increased fullness or length?	Price can vary depending on your needs and desires. Many clients simply wear Hair Extensions in order to add fullness to their Hair and not length. In this case cost can range from $150 - $800. On the other hand, if someone with dense hair is looking for additional length, more hair must be added in order to maintain density from root to the new end, therefore cost increases between $500 - $1500. Exceptionally long hair can go as high as $3500. A consultation is the best way to find out where in this spectrum you fall. The average price to add length for most clients is between $800 - $1200.
Can I get extensions just for highlights or lowlights or fun colors?	Yes! Extensions can be used in a variety of ways to add color to the hair. Highlights, lowlights or fun fantasy colors can be done in a multitude of designs. Price for just a splash of color starts at only $15.
Will the Hair Extensions damage my own Hair?	The hair extensions are placed into the hair and attached with a keratin protein polymer, the same substance your hair and nails are made of. This polymer is completely safe for your hair and so is the removal method. It is important for you to understand that proper at home maintenance is a must. Darlene will instruct you how to care for your extensions so as to keep your hair in the best condition.
Will my Hair Extensions need to be tightened?	No. Unlike the type of extensions which are sewn into the hair or attached with "beads", Darlene's extensions will grow out with your Hair and never need tightening. You will need to come in for regular maintenance so your extensions stay beautiful for a long time.
Will my Hair Extensions fall out while I have them in my Hair?	The average person who wears hair extensions will have anywhere from 100 to 300 human hair extension bonds . Over the life of the Extensions (3-6 months) some bonds may slip out, which is normal due to our own hair shedding. Proper care of the bonds will keep loss at a minimum.
How long will it take to put my Hair Extensions in?	Time depends on the desired result. Adding a few pieces for fun color takes only minutes. Adding fullness and not length can take1-3 hours. Adding length can take 3-6 hours, and in rare instances possibly longer.
